ASPIRE+PLLUS and Student Health and Wellness Services, in partnership with Santa Clara County, are offering valuable training on suicide prevention and awareness.

The event will take place over Zoom on December 5 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Focused on equipping participants with culturally sensitive approaches to recognizing and responding to suicide risks.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students and the leading cause of death for AAPI students aged 15-25.

  • Open to ALL students, staff, and faculty and provides:
  • Actionable skills to support yourself and others.
  • Culturally sensitive strategies to address mental health concerns effectively.
  • Certificates of Completion for all participants.
