Overview.
The Custodial Department at Evergreen Valley College maintains and oversees cleaning and preparation for EVC classrooms, offices, buildings, and restrooms. In order to keep our campus facilities clean, safe, and operational, the Custodial services team perform the following functions:
- Clean and maintain restrooms, shower, locker rooms, cafeterias, break rooms, offices and related facilities.
- Shampoo and spot carpet, clean ceiling air vents and light fixtures
- Operate manual sprayers for insecticides inside buildings
- Assemble, set up, or move furniture such as desks, file cabinets and computer equipment
- Set up for internal and external events
- Strip and wax floors
- Pressure wash side walks
