With EVC at my back and hard work at the forefront, my dream to attend UC San Diego for my Bachelor's degree has become a reality

Cristal Garcia
This is only the beginning, an open door to a world of possibilities. When I started college, I was a single mother, and I remember promising my daughter, Diana, that one day I would graduate and that it would all be for her. She was the motivation my life needed to become a better version of myself. I plan to continue my education with a degree in psychology and transfer to San Jose State.
