About Me:
I was born and raised in the Bay Area.   I began my career as a Philosophy instructor in 2005 and have taught courses in UC Riverside, Mt. San Jacinto College, Evergreen Valley College, Foothill College, Cañada College, and College of San Mateo.

Much of my time is spent teaching, helping students, revising lectures, and reflecting on ways I can become a better educator.  I also dedicate a good amount of time to becoming more learned in my subject matter and those related.   As such, I take interest in books in all subjects, especially history, science, and politics.

When I am not wearing my "teacher" or "learner" hat, enjoy skiing, rock climbing, listening to podcasts, playing piano, and learning Mandarin Chinese.  Finally, I would be remiss if I failed to mention that I have been a loyal 49ers fan since the days of Montana and Rice.
