The EVC-SJSU CEP is formerly knows as the Integrated Community College BS Nursing Pathway (ICCP-BSN)

Evergreen Valley College has partnered with San Jose State University to offer a 5-Semester concurrent enrollment program. Through this program students will earn both Associate's Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degrees, taking courses at EVC and SJSU simultaneously for four semesters with an additional fifth semester of SJSU-only coursework.

Prospective EVC-SJSU CEP students need to fill out the Generic RN application and indicate their interest in the EVC-SJSU CEP on the application. EVC-SJSU CEP applicants who are admitted to the EVC Nursing program (as non-Alternates) and meet the EVC-SJSU CEP eligibility requirements (see below) will be sent a formal EVC-SJSU CEP application.

To be eligible to apply for the EVC-SJSU CEP, applicants must meet all Generic RN program admission requirements and in addition have:

  1. Completed a minimum of 60 degree transferable units
  2. Completed the "golden four" course (English 1A, oral communications, critical thinking and transfer level math (statistics)) or hold a Bachelor's degree.

For applicants who do not hold Bachelor's degrees, it CSU GE Certification is recommended. You can get CSU GE Certified by contacting the academic counseling department at the school where you completed the majority of your coursework.
