J.E.W.L., the oral history museum housed at EVC, is hosting a virtual talk on the passing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the 1965 Voting Act, and the desegregation of schools on Tuesday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
The Institute collects and preserves history and current African-American experiences and provides access to that information at Evergreen Valley College.
