The J.E.W.L. Museum presents a talk with Commander Dave Enge of the Navy Archives on the recent exoneration of the Port Chicago African American Sailors. Also, the anniversary of the Port Chicago explosion in Richmond during World War II.

The Institute collects and preserves history and current African-American experiences and provides access to that information at Evergreen Valley College.
