April 30, 2025 marks the 50th year of the Fall of Saigon when the Communist North Vietnam took control of South Vietnam's capital, Saigon City. 

On that day and months and years later, several millions of Vietnamese refugees fled the country seeking freedom and a better life for themselves and their families.
