BRN Deficient Program
Overview
If you have a letter stating an area or areas of deficiency from the Board of Registered Nursing, you may apply for the EVC Nursing BRN Deficient program. BRN Deficient students will be placed into courses that cover the applicant's deficiencies, if admitted to the program.
If you do not have a letter from the BRN stating your deficiencies and would like to obtain one, please refer to this document:

Application Period
Applications for the BRN Deficient program are accepted year-round. To apply, please use the link below:
Once you have applied, please send an email to Dean of Nursing S. Lu Crary at Shara.Crary@evc.edu to schedule a meeting to discuss your application. Make sure to include your letter from the CA BRN stating your deficiencies in the email.
