If you are interested in history, you can gain skills in critical thinking and research, leading to marketable skills and a better-paying job.

Earning a history degree is not just about teaching but opens the door to a wide range of careers. History majors are taught to write and how to analyze situations. These are skills that employers want.

 

Transfer to a CSU / UC

Students looking to transfer to a UC and continue with a degree in history can do so at places like UC Davis, Cal, UC Santa Cruz, UC Davis, UC Irvine or UCLA. 

If you enroll in an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) program at EVC, you can transfer to a CSU and graduate with only 120 units.
