The Division of Library and Learning Resources is a place that connects energy of technology with the compassion of instruction.
This Division is located on the main floor of the Library ETC building. This Division encompasses the following programs: Library, Service Learning, Honors, Distance Education, Instructional Technology, and Tutoring and Learning Resource Center.
Educational Technology Center (ETC)
The Educational Technology Center is located on the main floor of the Library ETC building. The facility provides a campus open computer lab where students can have access to computers to complete class assignments, or they can take computer individualized instruction (CII) classes in computer literacy. The ETC also features hands-on computer classrooms that are available to faculty and their students; this allows disciplines that don’t normally have access to computer classrooms to present instruction in a hands-on computer environment. There are study areas and group rooms where students can plug in laptops and have wireless network access. The ETC also has distance-learning classrooms that provide for teaching and learning through telecommunication technology. There is a faculty and staff Technology Resource Center (TRC) and an instructional computer lab for development of multimedia instructional content and technology training. Technology access and technology assisted teaching and learning for the entire campus community is the primary role of the ETC. To learn more about the ETC, how to reserve classrooms, hours of operation, etc, visit the ETC’s web presence.
