Counseling 014 – College Success

I began my career at EVC in 1987 as the secretary to the counseling department.  I moved into the outreach and recruitment role in 1989, and began marketing the campus to many high schools in the bay area. I soon discovered my true passion was helping students realize their educational goals, so I went back to school.  I completed my M.A. in Counseling Education from SJSU, and I became a counseling faculty member in 1996.  I truly enjoy my job and love making a difference in student’s lives. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling with my family, cooking, and Sharks games!
